Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital - Hospitality Program (Full Time, Exempt, Day Shifts)

The Benefactor Liaison is responsible for the Benefactor Hospitality Program at all Cottage Health facilities. As a leader and senior member of the Hospitality Department, promotes a professional first impression and an overall culture of service excellence to our patients, visitors, and employees by providing hospitality in the public areas and lobbies of Cottage facilities. Oversees the Hospitality Tour Program in conjunction with Advancement.


Minimum: High school graduate

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree and/ or prior customer service course work or training.


Minimum: Intermediate computer skills, with emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred: Knowledge of basic medical terminology and hospital services. Basic knowledge of insurance carriers and types of medical coverage. Bilingual skills.


Minimum: 5 years related experience in a luxury hospitality or related customer service environment.

Preferred: 5 Diamond/5 Star hotel/resort experience.
