Part-time bookkeeper needed for a family office in Santa Barbara. Position is for 3 mornings a week for a total of 15 hours. Looking for a friendly and kind person who knows QuickBooks Desktop on PC and enjoys working with people. Duties would include bill paying, managing cash flow, preparing monthly bank reconciliations, preparing monthly trust account reconciliations, semi-monthly payroll, payroll return filings, and maintaining accurate general ledgers for individual family members, various small family owned LLCs, and one family non-profit foundation. Bookkeeper would also need to manage medical insurance submissions and charitable contribution receipts. Some errands such as going to the post office. Knowledge of taxes, non-profit accounting and trust accounting a plus. Paid holidays and 3 weeks personal time off. Hours can be flexible.
