Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, a national law firm of 250+ attorneys, seeks an experienced Transactional Legal Secretary to support multiple attorneys in our Santa Barbara office. This role is a great opportunity for an assistant who thrives on being proactive in a fast-paced environment, while helping appropriately prepare the attorneys for their demanding practices and prestigious clients. We seek someone familiar with real estate and/or corporate practice areas, and understands the importance of relationship building amongst clients and coworkers.
This role will maintain the administrative aspects of the attorneys’ practices through effective communication, timely client intakes, extensive calendar management, regular time entry, arranging business travel and other projects.
We require at least 5 years of experience as a legal secretary or executive assistant, preferably within a law firm. To qualify, strong organizational skills and professionalism are necessary, along with the ability to prioritize effectively.
Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck offers a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) + match, profit sharing, and vacation/sick/personal time off. This is a regular, non-exempt position, which pays overtime for hours worked above 40 per week. The salary for this role ranges from $70,000-85,000 DOE.
