At Cottage Health in Santa Barbara, California, our facilities are state of the art and our physicians, nurses, technicians and staff are extraordinary. The Nutrition Supervisor provides service excellence to patients and guests in the selection of meals through Room Service, Cafeteria, Deli, Catering and Coffee Cart. You will supervise activities of food production and food distribution, including floor supplies, nourishment, requisitions and patient tray line and cafeteria service; evaluate and monitor quality improvement indicators for safety, sanitation and food quality (taste, temperature, texture and appearance); and participate in developing action plans to continually improve safety, sanitation and food quality.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; AA degree in Food Service/Management Hospitality preferred
• California Food Handlers card; ServSafe certification preferred
• Minimum one year of Healthcare food service experience or two years of  experience as a food service supervisor
• Ability to staff and schedule per budgeted FTEs
• Ability to motivate, train, coach and evaluate personnel
