Are you interested in helping move forward exciting new technology to help mitigate the effects of climate change? A local marine renewable energy company in Santa Barbara is looking for a part-time Executive Assistant, reporting directly to the Executive Chairman.
The ideal candidate is self-driven, self-motivated, a quick study and has a strong work ethic. He/she is a pleasant, flexible and approachable person who takes initiative and is able to make independent decisions regarding planning, organizing and scheduling of work. He/she has strong organizational and computer skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to anticipate the needs of the team.
A typical day would include administrative responsibilities such as, managing email correspondence; making travel arrangements; scheduling C-level meetings; coordinating conferences; managing the calendar; preparing documents; reports and presentation material; special projects as assigned; and conference room set-up. Some personal assistance duties are also required. Must have at least 3-5 years’ experience as an executive assistant and a Bachelor’s degree.
The ideal candidate will provide top-level assistance for a high level executive. They should be comfortable scheduling meetings and responding to emails on the executive's behalf. Lastly, this individual should be able to draft documents and help the executive with any necessary meeting preparations.
