Join our team as a Territory Sales Manager and become the driving force behind a leading portfolio of better-for-you brands within a book of business consisting of key chain accounts and independent retailers throughout the Santa Barbara area. You`ll be responsible for driving sales growth, strengthening account relationships, and executing high-impact account strategies — all while representing our brands with professionalism and energy.

This is a hands-on, Monday–Friday territory role offering competitive base pay, commissions, incentives, and real opportunity for advancement.

Job Overview

We are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to manage, develop, and grow our authorized brands within an established book of business consisting of key chain accounts and independent retailers throughout the Santa Barbara area. This role focuses on sales execution, strategic account development, and measurable territory growth.

You will serve as the face of the brand in your territory, ensuring strong account performance, maximizing distribution, and driving consistent sales growth across your assigned market.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Account Growth

  • Manage and grow assigned accounts within your territory, including key chain accounts and independent retailers.
  • Increase facings, shelf space, and cold box placements to maximize visibility and sales performance.
  • Expand distribution of all authorized SKUs within each account.
  • Identify and secure incremental display and promotional opportunities.
  • Execute chain-approved promotions, pricing programs, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Monitor category trends and competitor activity to protect and grow brand share.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.

Relationship Management

  • Develop strong partnerships with store managers, department leads, and key decision-makers.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with accounts to identify growth opportunities.
  • Proactively resolve account challenges impacting sales performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support new item launches, expansions, and territory initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in territory sales, account management, or CPG sales (minimum 3–5 years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of chain retail operations and account management strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow sales and expand distribution within both key chain accounts and independent retailers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Valid U.S. driver`s license and reliable transportation.
