Insync Consulting is seeking an experienced Epic Analyst with an active Cupid certification and Radiant background to support a Cardiology PACS upgrade and complex clinical application initiatives. This is a hands-on technical role requiring extensive Epic build experience, advanced troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has at least 5–6 years of hospital-based Epic experience, a strong background in application configuration and build, and the ability to hit the ground running without additional training or mentorship. Experience collaborating with PACS teams is highly desirable.

This is a technical Epic build and application support role, not a project management position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, configure, build, test, implement, support, and maintain Epic clinical applications to meet complex clinical and operational requirements.
  • Independently develop and optimize Epic application builds with minimal oversight.
  • Support a Cardiology PACS upgrade, collaborating with PACS teams and other technical stakeholders as needed.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of Epic Cupid and Radiant to support clinical workflows, system functionality, and application integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues, including high-risk issues that may affect patient safety or clinical operations.
  • Partner with clinicians, operational leaders, and IT teams to translate clinical workflows into effective technical solutions.
  • Assess downstream impacts, regulatory requirements, patient safety considerations, and dependencies across clinical systems.
  • Prioritize competing requests, proactively identify risks, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Lead clinical working sessions, communicate technical findings, and document build decisions, testing results, and resolutions.
  • Support ongoing application optimization, change management, and system performance improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Epic Cupid certification is mandatory.
  • At least 5–6 years of hospital-based Epic experience.
  • Associate degree or higher in nursing, health information management, health informatics, information technology, computer science, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Epic application build experience, with strong technical knowledge and demonstrated independence.
  • Strong Epic Radiant background.
  • Advanced experience configuring, testing, troubleshooting, supporting, and optimizing Epic applications.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and contribute immediately without additional training or mentorship.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, terminology, and healthcare operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex application issues while considering patient safety, regulatory, and downstream impacts.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday during Pacific Time business hours, with some schedule flexibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Multiple active Epic certifications beyond Cupid.
  • Previous experience supporting PACS applications or collaborating with PACS teams.
  • Experience with cardiology-related clinical applications and PACS upgrades.
  • Additional clinical or health information systems credentials.
