Title: Office Manager – Insurance and Financial Services AgencyCompany: Cashman State Farm (Team Cashman)Location: 3433 State Street, Suite B, Santa Barbara, CA 93105, in office.Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Pay: $40 to $55 per hour depending on experience. At $55 that is about $114,400 a year before overtime. On top of that, an annual bonus of up to $50,000 tied to the agency hitting its targets.About the jobOur long-time office manager is transitioning out in spring 2027, and we are hiring the person who takes over. You will train beside her before she leaves, and work directly with the agency owner, a second-generation agent with more than 40 years in the business. The Cashman family has insured Santa Barbara for more than 70 years. You will run the daily operations of a busy agency with team members in the office and working remotely.What you will doRun the office day to day: set priorities, assign service work and keep the team on trackHandle payroll, timekeeping and employee benefits administrationOnboard and train new team members, and keep office procedures currentBe the owner's right hand on operations, reporting and complianceEarn your California Property & Casualty license, with our support, so you know the business you are managingWhat we are looking forExperience managing an office or a team: an insurance agency, bank branch, medical or dental practice, property management or similarHands-on payroll and benefits experienceOrganized, steady and direct, and able to lead people who are in the office and remoteWilling to become licensed.
