Shipping And Receiving ClerkVolt is immediately hiring for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Goleta, CA. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk you will support warehouse operations by managing the flow of incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. Day to Day Responsibilities include generating accurate labels and package identification for FedEx and UPS, receiving incoming shipments of products and organizing them onto shelves in the warehouse, verifying the correctness of packing slips and recording against R/A's, delivering shipments to appropriate departments and/or individual, assisting in inventory counts and confirming accuracy of the count, building skids when necessary to ship large freight, assisting in packaging products to outside processes or customers, checking PO #'s against packing slips, completing & matching move tickets: check lot & batch with shipping log, and completing daily priority projects and tasks.This is a full-time opportunity. Required Skills include minimum 1 year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience, ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal, basic math skills and ability to use a calculator, experience using electronic weigh scales and heat sealers, ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail and accuracy with shipping documentation, ability to lift and move materials as required, and ability to operate or learn to operate a forklift.Work Schedule Monday through Friday | 1st Shift | 8-5pm Overtime as needed Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
