Description - SCOPE AND PURPOSE: The Honor Bar Attendant is responsible for maintaining, replenishing, and presenting all in-room honor bars and refreshment amenities throughout the resort while delivering exceptional luxury hospitality standards. This position ensures all guest room honor bars are accurately stocked, inventoried, billed, and presented in immaculate condition. The Honor Bar Attendant plays an important role in enhancing the guest arrival experience through attention to detail, organization, and operational excellence. Working collaboratively with Housekeeping, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Purchasing, the Honor Bar Attendant ensures inventory accuracy, product freshness, and timely replenishment while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, quality, and guest satisfaction.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Requirements - OTHER: Previous hospitality, housekeeping, food and beverage, retail inventory, or luxury hotel experience preferred. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to accurately record inventory, charges, and product movement. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn property management and inventory systems. Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling of beverages and packaged food products. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments. Ability to work independently while managing daily priorities. Maintain discretion and professionalism while entering occupied guestrooms. California Food Handler Card required or ability to obtain within required timeframes. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. Frequently bend, kneel, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions. Ability to safely operate carts and transport inventory throughout the resort. Must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules based on business needs.
