Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this role, you will support daily operations through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative environment.

DayTime Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout utility facility grounds, buildings, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or maintenance or operational concerns.
• Monitor access points and help confirm that entry and exit activity follows site protocols for authorized personnel, visitors, vehicles, and/or deliveries.
• Support day-to-day operations by preparing reports, maintaining logs, and reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
