Responsibilities:

• In process inspection and evaluation of engineered space flight products.
• Reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints to understand product specifications.
• Using mechanical inspection devices for product evaluation.
• Conducting dimensional inspection using tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Implementing and maintaining quality control systems in accordance with ISO 9001 and AS 9100 standards.
• Documenting inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality database.
• Ensuring that all inspection and testing equipment are calibrated and functioning properly.
• Collaborating with the engineering team to rectify any quality issues and improve product quality.
• Conducting training sessions on quality control activities.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality inspection role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency in using mechanical inspection devices and tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS 9100 quality standards.
• Experience in conducting dimensional inspection.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying discrepancies or defects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with in process inspection is required.
