Job Responsibilities Manage the efficient operations and maintenance of all facility electrical, mechanical, structural, and life safety equipment and systems according to the MSA and KPI requirements. Provide strategic direction for the maintenance team and ensure all JLL and client safety procedures are followed.Drive the quality execution of preventive/predictive maintenance programs with the team, including routine auditing of PMs and corrective work.Develop and implement programmatic methods to ensure safe operation, high equipment reliability/availability, cost‑effective maintenance, continuous improvement culture, and regulatory compliance. Administer programs such as thermography, vibration analysis, and lube oil monitoring for the site and regionally, including vendor selection, program scheduling, analysis review, and corrective‑action follow‑up.Perform and support operational event and equipment failure investigations to identify root causes and prescribe corrective actions, following RCA, RCM, FMEA, and CAPA methodologies.Conduct program and system/equipment audits periodically or as needed, focusing on safety, regulatory compliance, maintenance effectiveness, cost savings, and energy conservation.Establish and monitor equipment reliability metrics (including OEE) and partner with maintenance and operations teams to prioritize work and improvements, performing regular data analytics to recommend enhancements.Develop and improve maintenance procedures to streamline work execution, improve quality, and deliver optimal equipment efficiencies.Support commissioning activities for upgrades, renovations, and construction projects, including PM job plans, maintainability reviews, critical spares, and documentation.Rank criticality of assets using reliability‑centered maintenance and define proactive maintenance approaches that are cost‑beneficial.Apply maintenance strategies and predictive technologies to optimize operational performance, life‑cycle cost, and payback.Champion the development, technical assessment, and sustainment of a skills matrix for the local maintenance team.Develop and maintain key performance indicators of equipment reliability.Skills Proficiency with a variety of electrical testing instruments and apparatus.Knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, SOPs, NFPA, OSHA, and work instructions.Strong written communication skills in emails, memos, and documentation.Team player with ability to work effectively with peers.Qualifications Certified Plant Engineer or Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional preferred.Minimum 3–5 years of utility systems/management and/or facilities/plant management and maintenance experience.Desirable: prior experience in a life sciences or R&D lab environment.Education & Experience Bachelor of Science degree in Marine, Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related scientific discipline.Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, including mechanical design/testing and international quality standards.Experience with predictive maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasound, motor current analysis).Experience with root‑cause failure analysis, equipment criticality ranking, PM/Pd.M. optimization, and/or failure modes and effects analysis.Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles for building structures and mechanical/electrical equipment operations and maintenance.Familiarity with CMMS systems (Angus, Corrigo, Maximo).Compensation Estimated salary range: $90,000.00 – $146,040.00 USD per year.Location On‑site – Goleta, CA.Benefits 401(k) plan with company matching contributions.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision care.Paid parental leave at 100% of salary.Paid time off and company holidays.Early access to earned wages through Daily Pay.EEO Statement Jones Lang LaSalle (“JLL”) is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
