This is a 100% on-site role in Santa Barbara, CA. It is an entry-level Supply Chain Distribution Technician role, not a Supply Chain analyst role. Executes basic distribution of supplies and equipment to the facility departments under close supervision. Able to receive and unpacks supplies, rotates stock and check for outdates materials and supplies as needed. Gains confidence and cooperation from entry-level employees through competent job performance and routine communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure the privacy and safety of our patients. May be authorized to transport and deliver legend drugs and dangerous devices - including needles and syringes, non-prescription drugs, contrast media, and drug-containing devices relative to core competencies of the position.

EDUCATION: HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Possess written and verbal communications skills to communicate with fellow team members, supervisors, patients, and other hospital personnel. Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. Work independently, as well as be part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions. Basic knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook), EPIC, and related information systems.
