Job OverviewMaintenance & Facilities Specialist responsible for maintaining grounds including mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, weed abatement, irrigation repairs, and equipment upkeep.ResponsibilitiesGeneral landscaping and groundskeeping, mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, weed abatement.Minor to moderate repairs on campus buildings, security systems, vehicles and other facilities.Performing irrigation repairs and maintaining equipment.Submitting regular reports to supervisor on work orders and completion status.Educating employees on basic maintenance and repairs.Serving as a member of the Disaster Response team.QualificationsMust pass thorough background checks and Livescan.High School Diploma not required but highly preferred, one or more years of specialized training preferred.Minimum 2 years' experience in related field preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook email.Valid California Driver License with clean driving record.Physical RequirementsRequires significant standing, walking, sitting, reaching, talking, and hearing.Frequent lifting 25–50 lbs, occasionally up to 100 lbs.Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling frequently required.Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment.Schedule & CompensationFull‑time; Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑5 pm with some flexibility. Pay range $22–$24 per hour, DOE.
