In this role, you will work in a fast‑paced clinic setting with adults, focusing on dental assisting duties. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to thrive in a dynamic environment.Responsibilities Provide patient care in a clinical settingDocument patient interactions and medical procedures accuratelyTake and record patient vitalsRoom patients and prepare them for examinationsPrepare treatment room for patientsProvide instrumentation by sterilizing and delivering instruments to the treatment area; positioning instruments for dentist's access; suctioning; passing instrumentsProvide materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in the patient's mouthProvide diagnostic information by exposing and developing radiographic studies, pouring, trimming, and polishing study castsExpose dental diagnostic x-raysEnsure health history is updatedEducate patients by giving oral hygiene, plaque control, and postoperative instructionsEnsure operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; call for repairs when necessaryFabricate temporary restorations or custom impressions from preliminary impressionsMake preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study castsEssential Skills Proficiency in medical documentationExperience with taking patient vitalsExperience in rooming patientsQualifications Ability to work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, and rotating SaturdaysFluency in SpanishEntry-level welcome; previous medical field experience preferredPay Hourly wage: $21/hr (up to $24/hr for X-ray certification).
