School Aide (Instructional & Behavioral Support)

Position Overview

We're looking for a caring, patient, and dependable School Aide to support students who need instructional, behavioral, and personal care assistance. You'll work closely with teachers and special education staff to create a positive, inclusive environment where every student can thrive.

What You'll Do

• Support students with instructional and behavioral needs in classroom settings

• Work alongside teachers to implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and participation

• Use positive behavior strategies to encourage learning and growth

• Provide personal care and mobility support when needed

• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment

• Communicate progress and observations with staff

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent

• At least 18 years of age

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to follow guidance and professional standards

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with children or in special education

• Familiarity with behavioral support strategies

• Background in caregiving, tutoring, or paraprofessional roles
