Position Title: Customs Brokerage Manager

This role is essential for overseeing customs operations and ensuring compliance with regulations. The Customs Brokerage Manager will manage a team while navigating complex logistical challenges. Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 / Year DOE

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily customs brokerage operations and ensure compliance with all regulations
• Manage a team of 5-10 staff members and address staffing issues effectively
• Monitor production and profitability while ensuring daily checklists are completed
• Engage with clients to maintain strong relationships and competitive pricing
• Provide on-the-job training and support to staff, fostering a collaborative environment
• Bridge communication between support teams and staff across locations
• Review customs entries and ensure timely follow-up on rejected entries

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in a customs brokerage role
• Expertise in ocean freight, air freight, and over-the-border logistics
• Experience declaring goods to the FDA is essential
• Proven management experience in leading teams effectively
• Ability to create and manage budgets
• Strong commercial acumen and presentation skills
• Customs license is preferred
