The Lecturer(s) will be responsible for developing and teaching courses that prepare undergraduate students to pursue careers in education, with a focus on equity, justice, and culturally responsive pedagogy.The role involves delivering the academic curriculum for XITO scholars and contributing to a collaborative, interdisciplinary teaching environment across ethnic studies and feminist studies departments.DutiesTeaching a seminar course for XITO undergraduate scholars.Teaching an upper-division undergraduate course, Teaching for Justice.Designing syllabi, assignments, and instructional materials aligned with program goals and student needs.QualificationsBasic qualifications (required at time of application)At a minimum, applicants must be enrolled in a terminal degree program (Ph.D, Ed.D., J.D. or M.F.A.) in Chicana/o Studies or related field at the time of application.Additional qualifications (required at time of start)Applicants must have their terminal degree conferred by the time of appointment.Preferred qualifications1 or more years of experience in teaching Chicana/o Studies, Latina/o Studies, or Ethnic Studies; and demonstrated subject expertise in Ethnic Studies education.#J-18808-Ljbffr
