OverviewDirects traffic on and off site in designated areas. Monitors traffic and parking conditions in the self-parking garage, other onsite parking installations, and resort roadways.Responsibilities* Directs the flow of traffic on site and at approved off site locations.* Installs and places road cones, signs, and traffic control materials prior to major events or as needed in order to facilitate traffic flow.* Monitors parking lots and roadways and facilitates traffic flow to ensure onsite parking is maximized and areas are safe.* Detects and reports suspicious and unlawful activities to immediate supervisor and/or security staff.* Aids guests as needed (e.g., transport guests between vehicle and resort, assist with baggage, assist with vehicle location, perform minor vehicle service, answer general resort questions, contacts roadside services, etc.).* Assists with valet operations as directed.* Upholds a work environment that promotes teamwork, partnership, recognition, mutual respect, and collaboration while role modeling the company values, behaviors, and culture of One.Team.Chumash.* Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications* High School Diploma or GED Certificate.* Valid California Class C Driver's License and an acceptable driving record.* Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance services (e.g., changing tires or performing jump starts) is preferred.* Basic computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft applications, email, and internet.* Willingness to work flexible schedules in a 24/7 work environment, including holidays, nights, and weekends.* Must apply for, receive, and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency.* Native American hiring preference applies.* Quality Orientation: Setting high standards regarding his/her work and working environment and acting; accordingly, developing quality standards, continuously evaluating performance, products, and procedures; actively seeking ways to improve quality.* Interpersonal Understanding: Showing interest in other people's feelings, attitudes, and reasoning.* Teamwork: Working as a productive member of a cohesive group toward a common goal and contributing to team development and effective team dynamics.* Oral Communication: Shaping and expressing ideas and information in an effective manner.* Written Communication: Expressing ideas and opinions clearly in properly structured, well organized, and grammatically correct reports or documents; utilizing language and terminology that is understandable for the reader.Location3400 Highway 246Minimum Pay Rate$18.50 per hourMaximum Pay Rate$18.50 per hour
