Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Executive Chef/Culinary Director for an on-site role located in the Santa Barbara area. This role involves overseeing daily kitchen operations, leading and mentoring culinary staff, and developing creative menus to align with organizational goals. Responsibilities include maintaining food quality and presentation, ensuring kitchen compliance with health and safety standards, managing inventory and budgets, and collaborating with team members to enhance guest satisfaction.

• Skills in staff leadership, team collaboration, and training
• Experience managing kitchen operations, inventory, and supplier relationships
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and compliance protocols
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and budgeting abilities
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• A degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or equivalent work experience preferred
• Previous experience in a leadership culinary role such as Executive Chef or Culinary Director
