Responsibilities include coordinating day-to-day station operations, ensuring adequate operational coverage, maintaining a safe and dependable operation, conducting agent observations, scheduling and administering local training, investigating and resolving operational and customer service issues, participating in operational conference calls and station audits, maintaining records, and performing station agent work as required.
Requirements include being at least 18 years old, possessing a high school diploma or GED equivalent, having a valid, unexpired, and unsuspended state driver's license, being able to carry, bend, lift, and turn with bags weighing up to 75 lbs, working rotating shifts, being flexible to work additional hours, performing duties in various weather conditions, reading, writing, fluently speaking, and understanding the English language, and possessing the legal right to work in the United States. Position preferences include a minimum of one year of customer service experience and some locations may desire previous airline experience.
Additional details include restrictions on visible tattoos, body piercings, and tongue rings while in company issued uniform, fulfilling a fingerprint based criminal background check, securing appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, passing a US Postal Service background check in locations handling US mail, and determining a candidate's history with the DOT drug and/or alcohol violation(s) or refusal(s) to test before hiring into a safety-sensitive position.
