Schedule: 32 hours per week, 4 days per week, Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 5:30pm
Founded in 2014, Bicycle Transit Systems (Bike Transit) is a woman-owned business that operates and manages bike share programs nation-wide along with our customer service call center. We are currently looking for a talented Bicycle Mechanic to join our Santa Barbara team!

The Bicycle Mechanic position is responsible for assisting in the inspection, maintenance, and repairs on bicycles in the shop and the field, as well as assist with battery swapping, bike assembly, and other operational work as needed. This position will entail outdoor work with high exposure to the public and potentially inclement weather. Bike mechanic experience is preferred, and urban riding experience is a must. Mechanics will receive full training on the specific maintenance requirements of the bicycles; however, experience working in mechanically and technically minded environments is required. A strong candidate will support Bike Transit's commitment to a strong and positive workplace culture.
