A company is looking for a Jumbo and Non-QM Underwriter.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and underwrite loan submissions according to various guidelines and internal overlaysPerform credit, income, and property analysis for complex financial profilesCommunicate credit decisions and conditions clearly to internal staff and external partnersRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferredMinimum of five (5) years of recent underwriting experience in Jumbo and Non-QM productsStrong knowledge of non-conforming/non-agency Jumbo and Non-QM loan programsProficiency with automated mortgage LOS and underwriting systems; experience with Encompass preferredIn-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local mortgage lending regulations and compliance requirements
