A company is looking for a Hospital Medicine Coder.Key ResponsibilitiesAssign ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes and CPT-4 procedure codes to patient recordsReview and code a minimum of 18 charts per hourReport coding problems or irregularities to the Medical Coding ManagerRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentCPC or RHIT certifications preferredMinimum one (1) year experience in medical coding and/or medical terminology and billingExcellent data entry and computer skillsAbility to work overtime as needed
