A company is looking for a Remote HCC Coder - Risk Adjustment.Key ResponsibilitiesReview, analyze, and code diagnostic information from patient medical recordsApply ICD 10 CM and risk adjustment coding guidelines accurately and consistentlyEnsure compliance with reimbursement policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standardsRequired QualificationsMinimum 1 year of professional coding experienceRisk Adjustment / HCC coding experience with health plans, Medicare, or MedicaidActive AHIMA certification (RHIT, CCS) or AAPC certification (CPC, COC, CIC, CRC)Extensive knowledge of ICD 10 CMStrong understanding of medical terminology, abbreviations, and disease processes
