Population: Adults-Geriatrics • Staffing Ratios: 1:5 • Float Req: Yes - Med/Surg if overstaffed • Weekend Coverage: Yes - 3 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule • Unit Systems: Omnicell, EPIC, SBAR • Scheduling Type: Self CERTIFICATIONS • Required: BCLS, NIH, Foley/External Cath Management, Nephrostom & Seizure Management EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED • 4 years' Experience Required - No 1st time travelers • Work Settings: Med/Surg, MS/Tele • Management of dysrhythmias • Telemetry - Remote monitoring • Use of Rapid Response Teams • Colostomy care • Feeding tube care/mgmt. • Pre/post hemodialysis mgmt. • Renal failure • Accessing ports • Blood product administration • Central line blood draw • Peripheral line care/mgmt. • Phlebotomy • PICC line mgmt. • Starting IVs • Heparin/Insulin/PCA • CVA • Pre/post neurosurgery • Spinal cord injuries/TBI • Surgical drains • Chest tubes/Emerson/Pleur-evac • CPAP/BiPAP • HFNC/Nasal Cannula • Non-invasive airway mgmt./Oral suctioning • O2 masks/Portable O2 tank • Tracheostomy mgmt.
