Position: Client Advisor

Location: Montecito, California

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: $28–$30/hr plus commission

Position Overview

The Client Advisor plays a key role in delivering an exceptional in-store experience and driving sales performance. This position serves as a brand ambassador, fostering long-term client relationships while supporting operational excellence. The role requires collaboration with store leadership to maintain brand standards and achieve business goals. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver industry-leading customer service to build guest loyalty through an exceptional in-store experience.
  • Maximize selling opportunities to meet and exceed individual sales targets, leveraging client books to convert one-time shoppers into long-term clients.
  • Proactively resolve customer service issues with best-in-class solutions.
  • Continuously demonstrate product knowledge and use company resources to deepen understanding of the product assortment.
  • Support operational tasks such as store opening/closing, cash handling, inventory management, and other duties as assigned by Store Leadership.
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are upheld throughout the day and assist with floor sets and moves as needed.

Required Experience/Skills

  • 2–5 years of experience in elevated retail or hospitality environments.
  • Exceptional customer service and networking skills with the ability to develop client relationships.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds without assistance.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights and weekends.

Preferred Experience/Skills

  • Strong affinity for the brand's philosophy and values.
  • Experience managing client books and driving repeat business.
  • Familiarity with luxury fashion or high-end retail environments.
  • Ability to apply business acumen in relation to store operations and product assortment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
