Spa Laundry AttendantSpa Laundry Attendants perform multiple tasks ranging from washing and folding laundry items (including the cleaning and sorting of spa sandals), to operating commercial laundry equipment. Completed tasks are sustained in a manner that is conducive to a 5 Star Resort and Spa, and that supports guests and team members. They maintain communication with the other team members and offer assistance to guests as necessary, so must be comfortable communicating in English. Additionally, Spa Laundry Attendants support the cleanliness of specialty spa public areas including spa restrooms, spa locker rooms and the Pixie wellness studios as needed.Standard specifications:Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knowledge, skills and/or abilities. Some requirements may exclude individuals who pose a direct threat or significant risk to the health and safety of themselves, other associates or guests.Primary Job Duties:Sort linens, towels, clothing and other laundry items by color, size and materialWash items with commercial laundry equipment following proper sanitization protocolsClean and maintain laundry room area and necessary equipmentUnload laundry from commercial dryersStock laundry supplies such as detergent, bleach, laundry bags and fabric softenerMaintain proper handwashing with soap, required before handling linenDisinfect work area upon arrival to work and throughout the dayClean and sanitize any hard surfaces (cabinet, shelf or bins) where linen will be placed before stocking necessary items for work shiftDiscolored or damaged linen is disposed of in a specific area and low volume of product should be noted to leadership so supply is sustainedWash and sort spa sandalsConfirm housekeeping/laundry pass-on for any upcoming issuesAssess overnight items and begin laundry services for the daySecondary Job Duties:Help maintain cleanliness of all spa village areasMaintain locker rooms in a tidy manner, as neededClean and restock showers after every use, in support of Spa AttendantRestock all linens and towels in locker room areas, as neededCheck and clean lockers when neededMaintain toiletries in locker room vanities, as neededAs assigned, support the cleanliness of Pixie Wellness Studios
