The Community Center Custodian is an hourly position to assist in the operations of the Goleta Community Center. Under direct supervision of the Recreation Supervisor, the Custodian will provide excellent customer service while performing a variety of general custodial and routine building maintenance. Anticipated hours 5-15 hours per week (may not exceed 999 hours in a July-June Fiscal Year). Must be available to work weekends and weeknights and occasional on-call work, depending on business needs. This is an unclassified position that does not receive fringe benefits, except as may be required by law. Note: This is a continuous recruitment and new applications will be screened on a regular basis. Examples of Duties Represent the City of Goleta by providing excellent customer service to residents and visitors of the Community Center. Perform basic custodial duties including, but not limited to mopping, emptying trash, dusting, and sweeping.
