TIG Welder - Stainless Steel Fabrication (1st Shift)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay: $21 - $23/hour

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled TIG Welder with experience in stainless steel fabrication to join our growing manufacturing team. This role plays a key part in producing high-quality components for oil management systems, including tanks, caddies, and custom assemblies.

The ideal candidate takes pride in precision workmanship, understands sanitary welding standards, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel (primarily 304) components and assemblies
• Fabricate and weld parts for tanks, piping systems, frames, and custom equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols
• Ensure welds meet quality, strength, and appearance standards
• Grind, polish, and finish welds for sanitary and aesthetic applications
• Inspect completed work and ensure compliance with specifications
• Maintain welding equipment and follow all safety protocols
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of TIG welding experience (stainless steel preferred)
• Experience working with thin-gauge stainless (16-10 gauge preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with tanks, pressure vessels, or fluid systems fabrication
• Knowledge of grinding, polishing, and stainless finishing techniques
• Understanding of heat control and distortion in welding
• MIG welding experience is a plus
• Exposure to robotic or automated welding is a plus

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing/shop setting
• PPE required (helmet, gloves, eye protection, etc.)
• Team-oriented environment focused on quality and productivity
