The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the front-of-house operations for The Dining Room, The Terrace, The Lounge, and The Wine Room. This leadership position ensures excellence in guest service, operational efficiency, team development, and compliance with El Encanto's brand standards.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Leadership
· Manage daily operations across the Restaurant, including setup, service execution, and closing procedures.
· Ensure consistency in service delivery, guest engagement, and hospitality standards.
· Troubleshoot service concerns and resolve guest issues promptly.
· Coordinate with Maintenance and Housekeeping teams to ensure facilities are guest ready.
· Attend department head meetings and contribute operational insights.
Team Management
· Interview, hire, train, and supervise front-of-house service staff.
· Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and bi-monthly team meetings.
· Promote teamwork, professionalism, and ongoing development.
· Conduct annual performance reviews and enforce job descriptions.
· Support staff morale and ensure appropriate labor scheduling.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
· Implement standards for food quality, presentation, and sanitation.
· Monitor portion control, nutrition, and product handling procedures.
· Uphold El Encanto brand service expectations.
· Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety protocols.
Financial & Administrative Oversight
· Forecast weekly covers, revenues, and labor within budget.
· Monitor labor costs and manage departmental expenditures.
· Delegate and manage special projects within the F&B team.
· Communicate effectively across departments and leadership.
Training & Development
· Lead service, safety, and emergency procedures training.
