To support that level of ambition, we are hiring a senior, on-the-ground relationship leader to be the face, voice, and steady hand for Alpha families in Santa Barbara.

The Role

You will be the connective tissue between Alpha and families who are deeply intentional about where and how their children are educated.

From the first serious conversation through long-term advocacy, you are the constant. You lead thoughtful, high-consideration discussions. You host polished, well-run information sessions. You navigate nuance with calm authority. When questions or concerns arise, you address them early, clearly, and with discretion.

You are highly visible on campus and genuinely embedded in the local community. Faculty teach. Leadership sets direction. You ensure families feel informed, confident, and supported at every step.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Owning the family relationship for Alpha's Santa Barbara campus from first inquiry through enrollment, retention, and advocacy
  • Leading 1:1 conversations and small-group sessions that help families evaluate a fundamentally different model of school
  • Hosting on-site gatherings that reflect Alpha's rigor, warmth, and attention to detail
  • Handling sensitive concerns, confidential matters, and high-expectation feedback with judgment and composure
  • Turning satisfied families into trusted advocates within Santa Barbara's close-knit networks
  • Building momentum through presence, credibility, and word-of-mouth—not volume or transactional outreach

You've worked in environments where relationships are long-term, decisions are personal, and discretion is expected. People listen to you because you are steady, prepared, and thoughtful. You know how to balance reassurance with honesty and leadership with humility.

Your background may include philanthropy, private client services, luxury hospitality, education, or community-centered organizations. What matters most is the pattern: families relied on you, returned to you, and referred others to you.

You're comfortable in settings where reputation is earned slowly, credibility matters more than titles, and trust compounds over time. You don't need scripts or pressure to influence outcomes. You lead through presence.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years in client-facing roles serving high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth families
  • Demonstrated experience guiding families through multi-step, high-consideration decisions resulting in enrollment, signed commitments, or long-term engagement
  • Clear outcomes from prior work, including conversion, retention, satisfaction, or referral metrics
  • Experience independently managing a personal network or relationship pipeline from first conversation through decision
  • Comfort hosting and coordinating experiences for 25+ individuals simultaneously
  • Proven discretion handling sensitive issues, complaints, or confidential matters
  • Based in Santa Barbara (or already working primarily in the area) and willing to be fully on-site
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
