Role: Program Manager - Brokerage Modernization (Mutual Funds)

• Scope: Lead MF trading modernization (order entry/validation/settlement) from mainframe to cloud-native; partner on Running Collected Balance (RCB) and Shadow Posting
• Must-have experience: 12+ yrs in brokerage/WAM tech, 7-10+ yrs program leadership, mainframe → cloud modernization in regulated FS
• Mutual Fund domain: Retail + bulk/batch flows, cutoffs/NAV, settlements, high-volume file processing (millions of orders)
• Hybrid ops: Dual-run/parity testing, fallbacks, performance/SLO management
• Tech fluency (not an architect): AWS/Kafka/event-driven patterns, APIs, data/batch modernization, mainframe integration concepts
• Latency/controls: Designed or led zero/near-zero latency paths for money movement/controls; data integrity & reconciliation at scale
• Stakeholders: Proven orchestration across Product, Enterprise Architecture, Ops, Security, and multiple engineering teams
• Delivery chops: Discovery → target state → roadmap, RAID/risks, decision logs, OKRs/metrics, executive steer-co comms
• Regulatory/compliance: SEC/Client awareness, books & records impacts, auditability
• Nice-to-have: Prior Fidelity experience/terminology, Ops Workstation exposure, Security Master/Instrument data familiarity
• Soft skills: Executive presence, crisp communication, ability to challenge constructively, fast pathfinding under ambiguity
• Location: US-based (East Coast preferred); remote with periodic Boston/Jersey City onsite
• Start/engagement: ASAP; initial 6-8-week discovery with extension into multi-quarter execution
