Nick Rail Music Private Music Instructor

Nick Rail Music is seeking EXPERIENCED INSTRUMENT MUSIC TEACHERS to teach private music lessons.

Nick Rail Music is a Santa Barbara original and has served local musicians since 1986. We are looking for teachers for a variety of instruments in all instrument families: orchestral strings, woodwind, percussion, brass, fretted strings, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

1. Teaching private lessons
2. Communicate with parents of students (where applicable) on the progress of each student
3. Assisting with customer service issues as needed, helping to maintain long term students by creating a great experience
4. Assign practice and other music-related homework to expand the student's knowledge of music
5. Attend all scheduled lessons and participate in recitals
6. Provide meaningful and educational instruction with prepared lessons and materials

Other Info:

• Pay: $20-45/hour depending on experience

Education:

• Bachelor's in Music (Preferred but not required)

Experience:

• Teaching: 3 year (Preferred)

Hours: Teachers will submit their available schedule and the Lesson Coordinator will work to fill all available time slots. It is understood that teachers will be held to a strict attendance policy.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States - we are an e-verify compliant company
• Must be fluent in English
• Must be over the age of 18
• Must have reliable transportation
