Location: Atlanta, GA 30339 (Hybrid)
Compensation: $21/hour
Employment Type: Contract- to- hire

Position Summary

We are seeking a Customer Care Associate to support regional and national chain accounts by responding to inquiries via phone, email, and web. This role works closely with Sales, Operations, and Enterprise Business Services teams to resolve customer issues, support account growth, and ensure operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, strong with numbers, customer-focused, and comfortable working across multiple systems and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support chain managers in maintaining and growing relationships with chain account buyers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding account details, orders, delivery information, and documentation.
  • Assist with account reporting, trend analysis, status updates, and sales presentations.
  • Identify and expedite resolution of ongoing account issues.
  • Participate in chain customer meetings to support operational awareness and revenue opportunities.
  • Monitor and resolve inquiries from customers, drivers, and internal sales teams.
  • Triage non-chain inquiries to appropriate departments (AP, AR, Sales, etc.).
  • Maintain working knowledge of company systems and reporting tools.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather and share necessary information.
Required Qualifications (Must Have)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Strong mathematical skills (rates, ratios, percentages, interpreting graphs)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured environment
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in Customer Account Support
  • CRM system experience
  • Database query experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • CRM software
  • ERP/order processing systems (AS400, Alpha Database or similar)
  • Email and internet systems
  • Database interface and reporting tools
