GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Store Operations Supervisor plays a key role in Store Leadership, overseeing specific areas and general store operations as the Manager on Duty. They are responsible for opening and closing the store, supervising associates, and ensuring a friendly and shopper-friendly environment. The Supervisor ensures proper merchandise presentation and maintains a tidy work area at all times while executing and overseeing Company operational processes as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Safety and Security:

  • Prioritizes safety by promoting safe behaviors in all activities.
  • Monitors the sales floor to maintain a secure shopping environment and promptly addresses any safety concerns.
  • Oversees the security of the building, including access control, daily checks on security devices, and cash office security.
  • Ensures all emergency exits are clear and accessible.
  • Responsible for customer safety, including accident prevention and reporting.

Customer Service:

  • Treats all customers and associates with respect and courtesy.
  • Exhibits professionalism and friendliness at all times, recognizing associates appropriately.

Brand Representation:

  • Embodies and promotes the Company brand consistently.
  • Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with Company Dress Code; ensures associates do the same.
  • Keeps all areas of the store clean and well-presented.

Merchandising:

  • Ensures proper recovery, sizing, and markdowns are completed to Company standards through effective supervision and training.
  • Handles merchandise deliveries efficiently.
  • Maintains organization and cleanliness in the stockrooms.
  • Responsible for securing and managing back-stock according to Company policy.

Loss Prevention:

  • Complies with Loss Prevention policies and actively engages with customers to deter theft.
  • Demonstrates integrity and honesty with associates and customers.

Front End Supervision:

  • Ensures all front-end processes meet Company standards and enhance productivity.
  • Trains associates on cash register usage and customer service best practices.

Fitting Rooms:

  • Maintains cleanliness and organization in fitting rooms.

Administrative Duties:

  • Oversees cash pulls and bank deposits according to Company policies.
  • Manages scheduling compliance and payroll administration as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations typical in retail settings.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to spend a significant portion of the time standing and moving throughout the store.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing more than 25 lbs.

Base pay for this position is $18.40 - $18.90, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
