Part-Time Activity Coordinator for Residential and Assisted Living

Schedule: Part-Time, Friday-Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $23-$29/hr DOE

As an Activity Coordinator, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to provide engaging, educational, and entertaining activities that enhance the quality of life and resident satisfaction.

  • Design, implement, and oversee wellness and recreation programs tailored to the needs of our residents.
  • Create events and programs that promote social interaction and engagement, facilitating a vibrant community atmosphere.
  • Ensure all life enrichment programs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute a variety of activities including entertainment, cooking classes, educational workshops, arts and crafts, games, sports, and group outings; ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Demonstrate intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with various company platforms.
  • Operate an 8-passenger van to transport residents as needed.

To thrive in this position, you should possess:

  • An Associate's degree focusing on recreation, health education, or a related field; coursework in social work, gerontology, psychology, or recreation therapy is preferred.
  • A background of 1 to 2 years in a geriatric setting is ideal, but a combination of training and experience will be considered. Training will be provided.
  • A valid California Driver's License is required.
