Located on 60 beautiful acres in Santa Barbara, CA, we offer resort-style retirement and a continuum of care for seniors.

Schedule: Full-time Benefitted, Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $23-$29/hr DOE

As an Activity Facilitator, you will play a vital role in enhancing our residents' quality of life through engaging activities and programs tailored to their needs. Under general supervision, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, implementing, and monitoring wellness and recreational programs to meet the unique needs of residents.
  • Providing dynamic programs and events that encourage social interaction and support a fulfilling lifestyle.
  • Ensuring life enrichment programs comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Organizing and participating in a variety of activity programs including entertainment, cooking, educational sessions, arts and crafts, games, sports, and outings; ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Utilizing intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other company platforms.
  • Driving an 8-passenger van for transportation to events and activities.

To thrive in this position, you should possess:

  • An Associate's degree focused on recreation, health education, or a related field, along with coursework in social work, gerontology, psychology, recreation therapy, or a similar discipline is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a senior living or geriatric setting, or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and abilities (training provided).
  • A valid California Driver's License.

No prior certification? No problem! We cover the cost of Activity Leader training (a value of over $500)!
