Description:

The Marketing Coordinator supports the Marketing department with the planning and execution of marketing strategy. Assist Marketing managers with creative content collection and creation, including but not limited to marketing collateral, email communications, resort signage and as needed design tasks.Coordinator will also lead select marketing projects and serve as a primary conduit from marketing managers to VPSM and various departments. Attentive, warm personality with the ability to manage multiple calendars and schedules with ever-shifting priorities. Must be able to remain assertive yet genuinely hospitable, utilizing high level communication skills to take charge of business needs.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential Functions:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field or design related course-work desired.
  • Social media experience desired.
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing and design (may include internship work)
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Design Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) desired.
  • Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Must be available to occasionally work holidays and weekends
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the manager based upon the particular requirements of the resort.
  • Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice
  • Support with the development and management of content/social media marketing programs, including public relations efforts
  • Attend key events on property to capture supplemental imagery for marketing content and organic social media
  • Independently coordinate with vendors and external agencies to ensure error free processing and ordering of marketing collateral
  • Assist managers in stewardship of external agencies to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs
  • Conduct market research and identify key trends across the luxury hospitality industry
  • Coordinate and execute photoshoots.
  • Collaborate directly with Retail department and other departments within the resort.
