Guests feel it; youll feel it too./ph2What Youll Do/h2pThe Guest Service Agent is responsible for registration and check-out, PBX operations, mail and message service all the while providing outstanding service to our guests along the way. Youll act as an advocate for the hotel, be a creator of ridiculously personal experiences, and develop relationships with guests that will compel them to return./ppThis is a full time position./ph2Some Of Your Responsibilities Include:/h2ulliReview arrivals noting special requests, blocking rooms as needed./liliCheck in and out hotel guests in a confident, professional and friendly manner./liliAnswer all phone calls promptly and knowledgeably, always ensuring complete and accurate information./liliComplete all items on appropriate (AM, PM, Overnight) checklist by end of shift./liliConduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, which includes VIPS, repeat guests, all packages, and any special requests./liliFollow established key control policy./liliEnsure proper credit policies are followed./liliSubmit all lost found articles accompanied by a completed lost found report./liliOpen, secure, and balance out daily shift bank which involves counting and verifying cash, check, and credit card transactions occurring while on duty./liliVerify credit limit report./liliMonitor room availability throughout the day./liliReview daily the selling status of the hotel using yield management system./liliAttend department meeting once a month./liliCommunicate by telephone and/or radio with other departments: Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, and Valet./li/ulh2What You Bring/h2ulliHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) required./liliPrevious experience in a Front Desk or customer-facing role is preferred./liliKnowledgeable of immediate area, services, attractions, and events./liliFlexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays./liliWork well under pressure, dealing with many arrivals and departures within a short period of time./liliFamiliar with hotel systems and operations, and the ability to enter in information accurately./li/ulpDifferences make a difference. Make it Count./strong/ppThe hourly pay range for this role is $17.00 to $19.00 This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Santa Barbara, CA. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
