Pharmacist Position

An employer is looking for multiple remote or onsite Pharmacists to help following a recent company acquisition. Our client has taken on 1,300 additional patients, most of whom rely on adherence packaging services and medication delivery. A significant portion of the patient population resides in assisted living facilities and group homes, requiring consistent, accurate medication management. They are seeking an experienced licensed Pharmacist who excels in high-volume, detail-oriented environments and is familiar with the specialized workflows common in adherence packaging and long-term care settings.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Conduct accurate prescription verification, ensuring clinical appropriateness and safety.
  • Oversee adherence packaging cycles (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly) and approve final checks.
  • Support medication dispensing processes tied to courier and delivery operations.
  • Support medication adherence through review, intervention, and patient engagement as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with facility staff, caregivers, and healthcare providers to resolve medication issues.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations.

Mon-Friday 9AM-5PM EST Paying $65-75/HR

Skills and Requirements:

  • Active, unrestricted U.S. Pharmacist license in the state of MA
  • Experience with adherence packaging
  • Working knowledge of HOA codes, PV-1 code (punch-card (blister card) packaging format)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, HIPAA-compliant environment.
  • Proficiency with McKesson EnterpriseRx or comparable pharmacy dispensing platforms.
  • Prior experience serving assisted living or group home populations
