This role is responsible for the comprehensive support and administration of the CTERA Remote File Portal Application and database, hosted on AWS EC2 with EBS storage, as well as supporting CTERA edge devices located across multiple on-premises locations. You will ensure seamless connectivity and reliable remote file access for end users, troubleshooting issues across cloud and on-prem infrastructure./ph3Key Responsibilities/h3pAWS Cloud Support:/pulliAdminister and support the CTERA Remote File Portal Application and its associated database hosted on AWS EC2 instances/liliManage and monitor AWS EBS volumes, EC2 instances, and S3 storage integrated with the CTERA solution/liliConduct regular maintenance, upgrades, backups, and patching of the application and database/liliPerform AWS resource optimization and security hardening as required/li/ulpCTERA Edge Device Support:/pulliProvide operational support for CTERA edge devices deployed in multiple on-premises environments/liliFacilitate and troubleshoot file synchronization, caching, and remote access issues between edge devices and AWS cloud storage/liliMonitor health, connectivity, and performance of edge devices, performing remote or onsite intervention when needed/liliSupport onboarding and configuration of new edge devices for end users/li/ulpConnectivity Network Support:/pulliEnsure stable and secure connections between edge devices and AWS cloud via public internet and dedicated connections such as MPLS/liliTroubleshoot network issues affecting file access and synchronization/liliCollaborate with network teams to resolve latency, throughput, or configuration challenges/li/ulpEnd User Support:/pulliAct as point of contact for end users and IT teams for queries or problems related to remote file access/liliProvide resolution to tickets involving both cloud and edge device services/liliDocument common issues and resolutions, maintaining updated runbooks and user guides/li/ulpMonitoring, Reporting, Documentation:/pulliImplement monitoring for cloud resources, application metrics, and edge device status/liliGenerate reports on service performance, file access metrics, incident response, and usage/liliMaintain thorough documentation for configuration, processes, troubleshooting steps, and incident history/li/ulh3Requirements/h3p6+ years hands-on experience with AWS services including AWS EC2, EBS, and S3/ppMust have CTERA Enterprise File Services (Cloud and Edge devices) experience/ppFamiliarity with remote file access, synchronization, and cloud-to-edge file gateway architectures/ppExperience managing and troubleshooting hybrid network connections (Internet, VPNs, MPLS)/ppExperience with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and documentation best practices/ppCertification in AWS Cloud: such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate,and/oran AWS Certified Developer Associate/ph3Highly Preferred Skills and Expectations/h3pAWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps certification/ppKnowledge of database administration in cloud environments/ppExperience with enterprise storage platforms and file services/ppPrior experience supporting distributed teams or multi-site infrastructure/ppStrong problem-solving skills and customer-oriented attitude/ppBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field/p/div
