Genesis10 is seeking an AP/Finance Operations Associate for a 6 month contract (with potential to extend/renew) position with a financial services client located in New York, NY. This is a hybrid position and requires being in the office 3 days per week.

Pay Rate Range: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour

Summary:
We are looking for someone who will be responsible for updating vendors and processing invoices through our workflow approval process. This role requires SAP knowledge, great communication, and understanding of 1099 requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform due diligence for onboarding new vendors
• Process invoices through Esker
• Verify coding is correct
• Email and communicate with vendors

Requirements:

• Knowledge and experience working within a large department in a corporate atmosphere
• Effective communication and good interpersonal skills
• Self-motivation with the ability to escalate issues as necessary
• Effective teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently
• Knowledge and experience with SAP/ Experience using a procurement system
• Understanding of 1099 reporting requirements and the ability to review and process 1099s
