Job Description:
We have several projects starting that are in need an experienced IT project manager. All are the implementation of purchased software. A large part of the work will be traditional project management along with managing the process changes for the departments.

The IT Project Manager - Organizational Change Management is responsible for leading change planning and execution for IT-led software and systems initiatives. This role focuses on managing the people, process, and adoption impacts of technology change rather than software development or engineering delivery. The Project Manager partners with IT, software vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure changes are effectively communicated, adopted, and sustained across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Change Leadership

  • Manage IT projects using a Waterfall methodology with a primary emphasis on organizational change outcomes
  • Lead organizational change management activities for software implementations, upgrades, migrations, and platform transitions
  • Develop and maintain integrated project and change plans aligned to business timelines

Organizational Change Management
  • Conduct stakeholder and impact assessments related to software and systems changes
  • Develop and execute change management strategies, communication plans, and adoption roadmaps
  • Identify resistance risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate training planning and delivery to support successful adoption
  • Support go-live readiness and post-implementation reinforcement

Stakeholder & Communication Management
  • Serve as the primary liaison between IT, vendors, and business stakeholders
  • Communicate complex technical changes in clear, business-friendly language
  • Provide regular status updates, risk reporting, and change impact summaries

Delivery & Adaptability
  • Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and issues across multiple initiatives
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, organizational changes, or technology constraints
  • Act as a versatile, cross-functional generalist supporting evolving IT and business needs


Physical Requirements:
The physical requirements for this office role include the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, typically up to 8 hours a day, and regularly operate standard office equipment such as computers and phones. Employees should be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally and frequently perform tasks that require typing, writing, and document handling. Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary, along with adequate visual and auditory abilities to read materials and participate in meetings.
