About the job Remote Data Entry Operator (Part-time)

We are hiring for temporary Data Entry Operator positions for our private-sector school located immunization program, Health Hero. As a Data Entry employee for Health Hero, you will be responsible for navigating Medicaid, ClaimMD, andother apps to find and verify eligibility for health insurances. This position will begin on November, 2022 and end between the end of November to mid-December.

Job Requirements:

• 1 year of data entry and billing experience
• Ability to work a full-time 40-hour work week. Varied shifts available.
• Prior experience with private health insurance preferred, including Medicaid and MCO insurance
• Experience in eligibility verification in insurance portals including Medicaid and ClaimMD is preferred
• Understanding of how to determine eligibility with different factors
• Experience with HIPAA compliance
• Desire and ability to adhere to Health Heros core values and high standard of customer service every day
• Located in Jacksonville, FL, area (but able to work from home)
• Must have a secure and reliable internet connection (at least 25mbps)
• Ability to successfully complete a background check, drug screen, and reference check before starting

• Ability to be a self-starter and work independently
• Detail-oriented and accuracy-driven
• Strong technical and computer skills, specifically Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional typing and communication skills
• Great interpersonal skills and great attitude that is contagious and can do
• Willingness to learn with an open mind
