Responsibilities:
• Analyze and review existing Tableau dashboards to understand underlying data sources, joins, calculated fields, and visualizations.
• Replicate Tableau visualizations, calculated fields, and data models in Superset ensuring functionality is preserved or enhanced.
• Optimize performance of Superset dashboards and SQL queries to handle large datasets efficiently.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate migration of data visualizations and reports.
Experience:
• Minimum 3 year of hands-on experience with Apache Superset.
• 8 years or more in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields.
• Proven experience with Tableau and other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik, etc.).
Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server).
• Expertise in data modeling, data structures, and ETL processes.
• Ability to translate Tableau dashboards and reports into Apache Superset.
• Understanding of backend data connections and optimization of data queries in Superset.
• Familiarity with YugabyteDB or similar distributed SQL databases.
