Wheel is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN) with multiple state licenses to join our network of world-class clinicians delivering virtual care. This role will support one of our healthcare company partners to virtually treat adult patients in collaboration with a clinical team. You will have ongoing support from Wheel's clinical leadership and administrative team so you can focus on what you do best and deliver quality virtual care to patients.

Requirements:

• Licensure
• Must be licensed as an RD/RDN in 40 or more states
• Educational Requirements
• Master's degree in Nutrition, Exercise or Health-Related Area preferred.
• Professional Qualifications
• CDR Certificate of Training in Obesity Interventions in Pediatrics and Adults required.
• CDR CSOWM Certified Board Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management a plus.
• Advanced training in motivational interviewing strongly desired
• Knowledge and Experience
• At least 5 years of experience delivering medical nutrition therapy for weight management, diabetes, or post bariatric surgery.
• At least 3 years of experience coaching individuals using motivational interviewing skills.
• At least 2 years' experience delivering medical nutrition counseling in a digital health setting.
• Experience with digital obesity management utilizing anti-obesity medications strongly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of anti-obesity medications to enable assessment and intervention for common side effects (dehydration, GI symptoms, malnutrition, loss lean muscle, disordered eating patterns or other potential unintended consequences)
• Philosophy
• Willing to use an evidence-based approach to weight loss, nutrition, and behavior change.
• Embracing of full spectrum of options for managing weight and health, including lifestyle, obesity medications and bariatric solutions
• Strongly committed to people first language, as well as actions aimed at eliminating weight bias, discrimination, and re-traumatization

This is a 1099 contractor position.
