JOB DESCRIPTION
Client Experience: Nice to have
• Seeking backend IC role and Front End
• This is not a manager position or analyst position
• Need someone who can get their hands dirty with code / troubleshooting
• 5-10 years of experience
• At least 2-3 years of that in Java
• Backend experience strongly preferred, no frontend only devs (Angular, React, JS, TS, etc)
• SQL proficiency
• 3-5 years experience
• Needs to have a solid grasp of more complex SQL operations see if they can mention any of the following when probing about SQL: CTE, query plans, troubleshooting, indexes, etc
• Some finance experience or equivalent environment
• Not for finance-specific knowledge
• We need someone who can handle the highly regulated, high-pressure environment that is not very developer friendly
• Familiarity with all the processes, red tape, auditory/compliance parts of the job that get in the way of the actual work
• Some infrastructure experience
• CI/CD - Jenkins, github actions, urbancode, etc
• AWS - S3, SQS, SSM, KMS, etc
• Communication skills
• Able to explain something technical in layman's terms
• Personable and easy to work with
