Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Fund Accountant is primarily responsible for the financial reporting for multiple venture capital funds and will report to a Senior Accounting Manager.

• Prepare daily/weekly journal entries in connection with fund activity
• Prepare quarterly financial statements
• Prepare schedules and provide support in connection with the annual audit
• Assist in managing cash flow needs
• Various ad-hoc tasks, and other projects and deadlines that arise in relation to above

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 1 - 3 years of experience in public accounting, fund accounting, and/or fund operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Allvue is a plus
• CPA preferred
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong ability to prioritize work
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail-oriented, a successful problem solver, and a team player
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Work well under pressure and respond to deadline with urgency
